What do you do when a laptop dies? Most of us recycle our old laptops, but this clock is a brilliant way to reuse one when it’s come to the end of its useful life. It’s made from a decommissioned Apple iBook G4, complete with an Apple mouse as a working pendulum. And it’s maybe the slickest wall clock we’ve ever seen.
The sleek, unique aesthetics of Apple products have made them ideal for all kinds of DIY projects. This one is particularly creative, keeping the iBook’s distinctive uncluttered look untouched by omitting numbers from the face of the clock. This particular clock was a one-of-a-kind masterpiece from Etsy seller Pixelthis and has already been sold. But with an old G4 case, an Apple mouse and a clock kit from a craft store, crafty geeks may very well be able to work out how to recreate it at home
